We have been blessed by the opportunities given to us and the social capital we enjoy in this wonderful country. If has allowed us to be successful and reap the rewards of prosperity, security and health.
Our heart tells us we should give back to those who do not have the same advantage we were blessed with: Opportunity, and the Social Capital of Family and Community.
We have chosen to give back by supporting the Selamta Family Project in Ethiopia. Selamta embraces street children who have been abandoned and matches them with mothers who are marginalized through famine and disease. These new "forever families' are supported so the children receive an excellent education and proper health-care, and especially the embrace of a warm committed family, which they will belong to for the rest of their lives.
Consider supporting these street kids to have forever families and a chance to become middle class producers who can bring their society to its full potential.

- Selamta doesn't help orphans: it creates families. Every family comprises a mother, an "auntie", and up to 9 siblings ranging in age from infants to young adults
- Half of the youth at Selamta are female and we encourage them to be leaders in their community.
- No one "ages out" at Selamta.
- Selamta families keep Ethiopian children in their own culture, strengthening the fabric of their communities.
